Lucky Finn Cafe & Apparel wanted to collaborate on a rebrand and catch up with the growth of their successful company. The Cafe serves authentic espresso drinks, fresh pastries, sandwiches, seasonal offerings & decadent desserts...  all while offering one of the most picturesque views in Boston's South Shore on Scituate Harbor.

“The thought process of rebranding our logo and a total reconstruction of our website was daunting.  Jean helped to define a thoughtful, pragmatic process that spoke to our vision and where we wanted to take the brand. All aspects of the design felt efficient and collaborative to yield a healthy exchange of ideas along the way.  Jean was a great partner for executing concept to reality”.   Chris Stoddard

“Jean was an absolute pleasure to work with on our rebranding and web design project. He had some great ideas and yet, at the same time, listened and implemented our ideas as well. Not to mention, but it was wonderful to sit with him and hear some interesting stories from his experiences in corporate marketing and branding.  On multiple occasions, Jean met with both myself and my husband, who was more in tune with Jean’s design language, yet at no time did I feel like Jean discounted my opinion. I highly recommend Jean!”   Mary Ellen Stoddard

Scope of work

A new logo was designed communicating a sense of sea going adventure that could be used on all promotional materials.

G&R Construction, Quincy, MA Has made its mark on Massachusetts constructing an impressive number of buildings where thousands of people work each day, from Fire Stations, Police Headquarters, Schools, Town Halls, Libraries, and Commercial Buildings, to Historic Renovations and Solar Farms.

Scope of work
G&R Construction asked DuVoisin Design to help them rebrand to better show the quality and diversity of the work they do. The branding program would be a multi year project

"You're like David Ortiz, another home run
great photos, you really make us look good."
            Robert J. Morel
            President, G&R Construction

 Web Site >
Was designed to show off their extensive completed projects, be mobile friendly, and allow potential clients to see who they would be working with.

Logo redesign
Their logo needed to read on construction helmets, equipment, signage, and under some extreme conditions. They really wanted to update their existing logo but keep the connection with their original logo.

We started a program to capture all their new projects as they are built and begin to archive their work.

When the web work was first completed there was concern that the company was so far down in the search listings that it was almost impossible to find them. Within a short time they moved up to the fist page with a significant amount of listtings.
